About Koelhuis Dintelmond

Koelhuis Dintelmond was founded in 1980 and is a fully independent and self-managed organization. We initially started with the cold storage of mainly fresh fruit, later expanding our services to include frozen and dry storage. Our team consists of highly experienced professionals who have been working together for over 10 years. This forms the foundation of our high level of service.

Koelhuis Dintelmond specializes in the storage and handling of chilled and frozen goods. We have many years of experience in dealing with fresh fruit, semi-finished products such as concentrated fruit juices, cheese, and fish.

NVWA Approved

Our processes and storage facilities are monitored by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA), which ensures compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

SKAL Organic Certification

As a SKAL-certified facility, we are authorized to store organic products. This means we comply with the strict requirements for organic chain control.

AEO Authorization

With AEO authorization, we are recognized as a reliable and secure partner in the international logistics chain. This enables faster and more efficient customs processing.

EG Recognition

We hold an EG recognition for the storage of fish and fish products. This recognition shows that we comply with all European hygiene and food safety standards.

Customs Warehouse Type C-spec

We are recognized as a customs warehouse (Type C-spec), which means goods can be stored under customs supervision.

PD-Approved phytosanitary inspection site

Our facility is approved for the inspection of plant products under the supervision of the NVWA. This allows us to have shipments inspected on-site for phytosanitary requirements upon entry into the EU.

STEK Certification via Equans

The refrigeration installations at our facility are maintained by a STEK-certified company.
